The Apartments
Our apartments are named after our ancestors as they recall their happy and lovely memories which are bonded with Torre degli Ammannati heirloom. They only differ in size and in lay out. From 40 sq, perfect for a couple, to 55 sq for a small family.
Each apartment is equipped with:
- Double bedroom (double bed or on request twin beds);
- Living room with cooking facilities (fully furnished kitchen with electrical household appliances and utensils);
- Bathroom (with shower, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries).

The Building
Staying in one of the splendid two-room apartments in Torre degli Ammannati means living an authentic experience in the medieval center of Prato. The apartments are born from the careful renovation of a building consisting of two tower houses from the 13th century. Torre degli Ammannati is another tower, still present today, situated right next to the apartments.
From this tower, owned by the same family for several generations, the apartments take their name.
History and Place
Torre degli Ammannati Apartments is located in the heart of the historic center of Prato. The apartments overlook a street previously called Via delle Torri (Towers' Street), today Via Pugliesi, known for the high concentration of tower-houses that characterized it. During Middle Age, towers were not only built for defense but also as a symbol of prestige of noble families.
Staying in one of our apartments also means reliving a piece of history of our city. Do not hesitate to ask us curiosities and information, both about the residence and about the city itself, we will be glad to tell you everything we know!
